Italian shipbuilder Tankoa has unveiled its latest showstopper — the 170-foot S520 superyacht — and it’s nothing short of breathtaking.
Debuted at the Palm Beach International Boat Show, the S520 builds on the success of Tankoa’s S501 model, but brings even more style, space, and sea-loving luxury to the table.
Designed by Francesco Paszkowski, this sleek vessel boasts a striking gunmetal-gray hull and a sporty, modern profile that instantly grabs attention.
The S520’s design evolution focused on expanding outdoor areas. The ship’s platform was extended, the sun deck enlarged, and the upper deck sky lounge and flybridge reimagined to create more open-air luxury.
One major highlight? An infinity pool perched on the sun deck — the perfect spot to soak up the views while cruising the open sea.
But that’s not the only pool onboard.
The S520 also features a second pool located at the stern, seamlessly integrated with the split-level beach club, aft platform, and main deck.
This impressive beach club includes two fold-out side terraces, multiple sunbathing zones, and portholes that let natural light pour in, enhancing the tranquil vibe.
Thanks to relocated staircases, the upper deck aft has been expanded into a full-scale entertainment zone, while the front upper deck offers plenty of space to store your favorite water toys.
Step inside and the S520 continues to impress.
Interior designer Margherita Casprini joined forces with Paszkowski to create a luxurious interior that feels spacious and inviting.
The design features taller ceilings and oversized windows, along with sculptural partitions and layered panels that define the spaces throughout.
The color palette includes soothing grays and creams, with bold red accents adding just the right pop of energy to the soft, flowing interiors.
The lavish owner’s suite includes a private lounge, study, walk-in closet, vanity, and an elegant en-suite bathroom — a true retreat at sea.
Tankoa’s CEO Vincenzo Poerio summed it up best: “The S520 is the perfect blend of beauty and functionality, crafted to meet the future needs of luxury yacht owners.”
This isn’t the first time Tankoa has teamed up with Paszkowski and Casprini. They previously collaborated on the 190-foot Diamond Binta, which features a helipad, climate-controlled gym, and flybridge spa pool.
And for movie lovers, the superyacht Grey — also by Tankoa — comes with a 144-inch retractable cinema screen right in front of its pool. Now that’s a movie night to remember.
