$1.13 Million Patek Philippe Designed for Billionaire Desks

Swiss luxury watchmaker Patek Philippe has introduced a breathtaking new desk clock priced at $1.13 million. Known for its ultra-premium wristwatches, the brand now brings its world-class craftsmanship to the desktop with a piece that’s both a functional timekeeper and an art object.

Unveiled at Watches and Wonders Geneva 2025, this desk clock—officially called the 27000M-001—combines the charm of vintage design with modern innovation. It’s inspired by the historic 1923 Packard Clock but updated for today’s collectors, with advanced accuracy and an impressive 31-day power reserve.

The clock’s exterior is crafted from sterling silver and finished with green Grand Feu flinqué enamel. It rests on a luxurious walnut wood base. Engraved rope motifs and ornamental winged lions pay tribute to its historic inspiration while enhancing its decorative appeal.

A movement seven years in the making

What lies within is even more astonishing. The 912-component Caliber 86-135 PEND S IRM Q SE movement took seven years to develop. This intricate mechanism powers not just the time, but also a perpetual calendar, weekly calendar, moonphase display, and power reserve indicator.

The clock is manually wound, a nod to traditional craftsmanship. Its measurements—135mm by 86mm and 28.55mm thick—make it a substantial yet refined addition to any luxury office or study.

A collector’s item for the elite

With a price tag of $1.13 million, this desk clock clearly isn’t meant for the average buyer. It’s designed for collectors, billionaires, and horology aficionados who appreciate the intersection of heritage, engineering, and exclusivity.

This new creation from Patek Philippe isn’t just about telling time—it’s about owning a piece of horological history.
